The region is also a real walkers’ paradise. In the winter there are approximately 142 km of cleared walking
paths, embedded in a wonderful snowy landscape.
Also the fans of snowshoe-walking will find superb possibilities.
Nordic walkers and runners will also find what they are looking for as the Olympiaregion has an excellent
reputation for Nordic sports.
Skiers and snowboarders, whether beginner or professional, can tackle everything from carving to off-piste
on 48 km of slopes with 32 cable cars and lifts as well as guaranteed snow until April.
You want to do something else?
In the neighbourhood there are many things to do like tennis, ice skating, curling, tobogganing, a workshop with
sled dogs, sledding tours, kite-skiing and ice-climbing.
Innsbruck (30 min by car) is a beautiful city to visit for a daytrip, especially at Advent-time in December!
